We will meet at Well St Common at 7pm. We will then run to the Olympic Park (15mins). Those people who would rather meet us at the Olympic Park can do so at 7:15pm at the main entrance to the Aquatic Centre. You can park your bike there.
Oregon Circuits – Run to Olympic Park from Well St. Common. 1. Agility and hip mobility drills – Using the ‘U’ shaped bike parking, hurdle step over in one direction and side step back. Repeat 3x. 2. Progressive hill reps – Using sloped path around perimeter of Aquatic Centre, run up the path and jog return. Increase effort progressively from 50, 60, 70, 80, 90%. 3. 3mins stair running. Perform horizontal pull-ups 10x on every 3rd stair repetition. AMRAP. 4. Run loop of adventure play ground. 5. 3mins 20x lunge jumps, 15x air squats, 10x push ups. AMRAP. 6. Run loop of adventure play ground. 7. 3mins Burpee step-over. AMRAP. 8. Hill sprints 5x. Run to Well St. Common from Olympic Park.
AMRAP – as many rounds as possible i.e. repeat the sequence of exercises as many times as possible within 3min.
