The LFTC annual beer mile
12th August @ 6:30pm, Vicky Park track.
This annual event which was first started in 2018 (no one remembers who won) and which was sadly cancelled last year, is a highly prestigious race, where the winner takes the spoils of war, which is in a form of a trophy (don’t actually know where it is).

The race consists of 4 x 400 laps, whereupon the participant needs to drink/☠️ 4 beers*. The first person to cross the line will be hailed as the LFTC BMC and will be remembered for eternity (or unless I forget to write it down again). Afterwards, we will proceed to People’s Tavern to enjoy a thirsty Thursday session, where the annual black sambuca championship will take place (by annual this means first year 0 but hopefully will continue).

As this event is not actually an event, LFTC is not liable for anything except guaranteeing fun will be had. Please sign up to the event on the calendar so we know how many tables to book.

*you can have any drink which is a standard 330ml can. If you want to do more, then that will be rewarded with a bow from competing “athletes”.

Bring tour own bottles / cans.
