LFTC Monthly Social Ride
New Year, old us – heading out in the cold miserable weather just for fun! The club ride this weekend is Sarah’s J 77K with three pace groups as always.
Optional coffee stop in Ongar by the roundabout, post-ride Thai at Rosa Kitchen – Railway Arches, 381 Mentmore Terrace, London E8 3PH
Meet up at 0815 for 0830 roll-out at E5 395 Mentmore Terrace, London E8 3PH
Please note that this is an uncoached ride for experienced cyclists. There is a shorter beginners ride going to Richmond as well.
A couple of good points shamelessly copied from Sam
– make sure your bike is roadworthy [pumped wheels, greased chain, working gears etc]
– bring food, spare inner tubes, pumps, canisters etc. you need to be self-sufficient,
– bring a mobile phone
– if you have a Garmin, please upload the route otherwise it’s just an expensive speedometer.
