Swim session focused on technique by going through the various aspects of front crawl over a period of five weeks, it includes also a component of fitness, where we build swimming endurance (up to 400 metres continuously).
As part of the session we use training aids to work on specific aspects of technique and fitness and you will need swim fins and pool buoy — the drills work much better with them! Water bottle/sports drink also recommended.
Please arrive in time so you are ready to start (be in the pool) for 9pm. Entry to the pool is included in the cost of the session, you will need to show your booking confirmation email to reception and they will let you through. Lockers are available with a 20p coin.
NOTE: This is a session aimed at swimmers able to comfortably complete a 200m continuous swim (eight lengths of a 25-metre pool). Please attend our technique course or get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org if you are unsure of your ability.
